Basket Mouth Reveals He Paid 32 Million Naira For A House 14 Years Ago And Is Yet To Receive It

Comedian Basketmouth has revealed that he is yet to receive a N32 million house he paid for in Lagos 14 years ago.

In a post shared to Instagram on Thursday, the 43-year-old explained that the process had been delayed by the bank funding the project leading to a legal battle between the two parties but is yet to receive his house or a refund even though the matter has been resolved.

“I put a N32 million down payment in Prime Water View Estate 14 years ago,” he wrote.

They had some issues with the bank funding the project that landed both parties in court. After the matter was resolved I started hearing all sorts of stories concerning the delivery of the house and the refund…”

This comes after fellow comedian AY Makun’s claim that he has been avoiding Basketmouth due to his ‘incessant childishness’

I don’t have issues with him. But people having unnecessary issues with you are the price you sometimes pay for being progressive,” he wrote on Instagram stories in reply to a fan who asked him about their rumoured feud.
“He has been battling with his uncontrollable superiority complex for the longest. So avoiding his incessant childishness only became necessary for my own sanity.”

Basketmouth on the hand, had claimed that AY ‘messed with his loyalty’ while on the Bounce Radio show with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in September last year.

He told him: I don’t mess around with loyalty. He came into my space and messed around with loyalty,” the comedian said about his issue with AY.

He said something that he wasn’t supposed to say. That was going to cause a rift between me and this person.

It was Magmus (Umeri), my lawyer. I said something to AY, and he told Magmus, and he wasn’t supposed to say it.”

The “Papa Benji” star however denied rumorurs of a feud between them, claiming that they are cordial.

We made peace and he apologised,” he said.
