Ada Ameh’s Body Arrives Benue Hometown For Burial (Photos and Video)

The body of Nollywood actress Ada Ameh had arrived her hometown Ogobia, Otukpo in Benue State for burial.

A video posted to Instagram Friday by her “The Johnsons” co-star Charles Inojie, shows the moment her  body was brought to her father’s house where she is to be buried.

He also dedicated a poem to his onscreen wife in the caption of the heartbreaking clip.

There lies a chip of us

Deadpan and ice-frozen

There lies a broken heritage

Wrapped in a funeral encasement

In that air-tight wooden bed

Is our naked truth

No matter the differences we nursed

You can never tell

How much of us is in them,” it reads

“There again is a grim call

A charge to everyone

That none is promised tomorrow

That we may live today as the best of days

Spreading love beyond the bounds of our comfortable thresholds

Till the twilights dim on the hour not foretold

When the once sonorous symphony

Fades forever away

On the morbid horizons

Of life’s curtainfall

Ada’s  best friend, fellow actress Empress Njamah, who publicly supported her as she battled depression and mental illness after the death of only child in 2020, posted a similar video with the caption: “Good night my friend.”
