APC Begs Kwankwaso, "Forget Peter Obi, Join Us To Become "Mr. President"

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has invited Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the NNPP's presidential candidate, to join the organization he helped form.
Yakubu Murtala Ajaka, the APC's deputy national publicity secretary, requested Kwankwaso return to the party to which he made significant contributions to its growth while speaking with reporters on Sunday in Abuja.

The previous governor of Kano is well knowledgeable about how the current government was put together, the APC spokesperson claims.

Ajaka urged Kwankwaso to turn back before it was too late while cautioning him not to be duped by Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and his 'Obidient' movement, which he claims only exists on social media.

The spokesperson for the ruling party emphasized that winning two states would not make Kwankwaso "Mr. President" and that Kwankwaso's best chance of winning the presidency lay in rejoining the APC.

“That is why I said it’s not too late for him to return to the APC. That’s where he naturally belongs and has an assurance of becoming a president one day, and not his current sectional NNPP.

“Although some people might be deceiving him by calling him Mr. President already but just one or two states in the North-west cannot make him a president. Kwankwaso needs a national party like APC to achieve his presidential ambition. So, I plead to him to do the needful before it is too late,” he said.
